This HomeBeing audio journey invites you to experience Iceland’s Golden Circle with curiosity — and time to notice.

Starting in Reykjavík, you’ll travel across Mosfellsheiði to Þingvellir, continue to the geothermal landscape of Geysir and the waterfall Gullfoss, and return towards Reykjavík over Hellisheiði.

Along the way, eight stories explore the connections between the land, the people who have called it home, and our own place in the natural world.

You’ll encounter hidden people and shifting continents, follow the journey of water, reflect on the art of waiting, and meet the woman who refused to sell her friend.

Two bonus stories invite you to look further: towards the Northern Lights, and into the many ways of time.

Travel at your own pace

Listen between places or before stepping out to explore. Pause for a walk, linger beside the water, or stay a little longer somewhere that catches your attention.

The narration is voice only. When you step outside, let the wind, water and living landscape provide their own soundtrack.

A few practical details

This is a digital, self-guided driving journey. You’ll need your own transport and a phone or other device for listening. Allow a full day to enjoy the route and its stops.

Playback is manual, so you choose when each story begins. Set up the audio before driving, or let a passenger operate it. External navigation and live travel information require an internet connection.

Transport, parking and any admission fees are not included.
